Pork Chops with Parmesan Sauce

Are you looking for a simple meat dish that only takes 20 minutes to prepare and no special ingredients?  Look to Pork Chops with Parmesean Sauce.  This main dish can be made in less than 20 minutes and you likely already have all the ingredients in your refrigerator.  The flavors are simple so even picky eaters won't complain.

Pork Chops with Parmesan Sauce
Serves 4

4 boneless pork chops
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup skim milk
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons minced onion
3 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. In a large nonstick grill pan, melt butter.  Add pork chops and cook over medium heat until meat juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.  Remove and keep warm.
Combine flour and milk until smooth; stir into pan. Bring to a boil; cook and whisk for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients; heat through. Serve with chops.
