Canning Peaches and Plums

Fruits are at their peak.  What better way to preserve the "fresh picked" taste than to can!  My girlfriend was able to get me a large case of organic peaches - juicy and delicious.  Then I purchased 10 pounds of plums (great sale at the grocery store).  So much to can, so little time, but worth every second!  Our 4 year old helped peel the peach skins after the were blanched and transfered to ice water.  What a great way to get little ones involved.
